The iPod is the leader of the MP3 market. With a new model put out virtually every six months since its debut, Apple seems to always have something new up their sleeve for consumers. Apple has recently opted to accommodate traveling iPod-users through car and plane connectivity. Only improving, Apple continues to bring the best in music and video conveniences.
The first of travel conveniences starts with iPod car connections. Stuart Corner of iTWire.com reports, “more than 70 percent of 2007-model US automobiles will offer iPod integration.” More than just adapter-ready compatibilities, such cars will allow the iPod to be completely manageable via the vehicle’s audio controls. For the utmost iPod experience, Apple has presented simplified use in automobiles.
It doesn’t stop there, though. Apple has teamed up with 6 airlines to “offer iPod integration with the video screens,” as Tom Samiljan of Yahoo Tech reports. Aiming for release in mid 2007, airlines teamed up with Apple will have iPod compatible screens on the seats which also charge the device. Sounds like a success in the making.
Apple is covering their bases, teaming up with automobile manufacturers and major airlines. With added convenience in cars and planes, they prove to conquer land and sky.
